The Park of the Necessidades is a completely different affair. Full of wild and wonderful follies and features, the first one up is the side gate to the formal garden of the Palace. A French wrought iron rail swirls up the stair where massive stone piers stand guard, decorated with volutes rendered as cornucopias: trumpets from where all good things emanate in endless supply.
