GROWING WILD | Old Portuguese Stuff

Esperança means hope in English and so we hope that these windows stay in painted wood for a long time, when so many (in fact, the majority) in Lisbon are now aluminum or plastic. The façade is wildly picturesque with all the greenery and geometric tiles, and note the elegant wrought iron work casting linear shadows.

Lisboa, Rua da Esperança.
