BOLHÃO 8 OF 12, LARGE

The large Barracas can fit a small-sized shop, and feature arches and wooden lattices. They also have the barn-like ventilation caps wich give them their distinctive look when entering from the higher street. The base and columns are parged, and there is a field of azulejos for each bay.

Nas Barracas “grandes” cabe uma pequena loja. Têm arcos e rótulas (gelosias de madeira) e as pequenas chaminés de ventilação que lhe dão o seu aspecto peculiar quando vistas da rua mais alta. Os embasamentos e colunas são rebocados, e entre colunas há sempre um pequeno campo de azulejos muito simples.
