An interesting boss detail at the rib vault, where the structure’s strength is exposed by the means of a “skylight” in the apex of the ceiling. The images belong to a couple of rooms from the primitive gothic church of São Francisco in Tavira, which was later re-built alongside and left these as open spaces, now part of a public garden.
