PEARLS BEFORE SWINE

A PEROLA DO BOLHAO

In this appetizing store (in the vein of glorious Russ & Daughters in NYC) you can find dried beans and chickpeas, jams and olive oil, port and morello liqueur, and all kinds of tinned fish. But the most amazing part (asides of course from all the cast-iron work and tiles) are the dried pig’s ears and snouts piled up on the bottom right corner – we’ll spare you the detailed image, but they do sell.
