Like brother and sister, these two chimneys side-by-side represent the genius of invention of Raul Lino, who instead of hiding them as his Modernist peers would, chose to make them elements of the house in their own right. They stand both like sentries and porters, guarding and welcoming you and announcing the best is yet to come. The date on the wall is enough to mark the building as of its age.
