In its Summer house, the noble family would enjoy a North-facing terrace clad in azulejos with all sorts of allegorical and comical scenes. At the end of the patio stands a small chapel, whose entry loggia is of course a Palladian motif, decorated on the inside with an explosive mixture of azulejos, pebbles, shells, ceramic bas-reliefs and (gasp) Ming porcelain plates!
